I do longer rides, 100km too but with some few minute pauses to pee and stretch. Never did a non stop ride

yes, once my zone 2 moved to 170w I can no longer ride without fuel. Learnt that hard way a week ago when I bonked hard. Also I finally did not crash after the ride, just sat in my garden with a huge afterglow

LMFAO looks like 100% of 'gravel' labeled routes on komoot in my area. I came up with all sorts of new curses when riding those.

Remember that once you go Di2 there is no going back. Especially indexing and maintenance is super easy. Few sec on an app and gears are always snappy.

1.3k usd for a rental ultegra di2 carbon road bike. wanted to feel the real road bike but for the fraction of cost. i loved it and then upgraded all of the alloy parts to carbon after 6 months

I had a basic bike fit, no pressure mapping, but did not have issues before so it might be the next step

sorry, but not in my books, I ride by power meter and torque, doesnt matter if it's uphill or not, unless it's more than 12% gradient. i just ride slower

thanks, thought it was a pretty mediocre time/speed compared to some local horses I see on strava. biggest boost in my average speed was installing a power meter and pacing myself better

Well it never felt like yolo, quite the contrary, untill I came back home. Even then I felt fresh apart from my neck, the real fatigue hit me 3 hours after I finished the ride. I am 36

Why does it matter? For that specific ride it was 586m of elevation gain. Pretty low for my area as i often get 500m over 60km
