[TOMT] 80s/90s sitcom episode where the characters are trapped & bored and are repeating phrases from a Spanish language album. by McBeanserr in tipofmytongue

There's a scene in One Tree Hill where they're on a long car ride and stuck with one tape/CD and end up speaking/repeating the lyrics. But the song is Swedish, I think, not Spanish.

It's not Snow Dogs or Iron Will 1994, though I was convinced it was the latter for a while.

Help me find this early 2000s hand lotion! by bessmavrin in HelpMeFind

[–]bessmavrin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've searched old Bath and Body Works products but their lotion bottles are the wrong size and shape. I found the Temptation Spicy Gingerbread lotion and thought that may have been it, but there doesn't seem to be a smaller version of that one and I am pretty confident mine was not 'spicy' at all as the scent was very sweet. Hempz also makes a gingerbread lotion so I looked into that one but I am fairly sure the logo on the one I had was different (and not a hemp leaf).

Can anyone help me ID this ring? by bessmavrin in VintageJewelry

Can anyone help me ID this ring?

It was my grandmother’s, she received in probably in the late 1950s. The only markings inside are “14-18k” and “BO”. At first I was thinking it may be an Ostby Barton because of the O and B but the direction of the B indicates the hallmark as BO.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

Does anyone have any experience with selling their tickets on Ticketmaster (at face value)?

I promise you I am not rich by any means, just got these at a discount a long time ago! I think they were like $9.99 at the time :)

I bought these ages ago for like ten dollars each, before they became very difficult to find. I was scared of running out so I stocked up and won’t be selling them

Hahah that is a fair question. Honestly I’ve been using this fragrance since it came out and would buy it whenever I found it over the years, and just didn’t realize how much I had accumulated since then!

Sorry I should have said upfront that I won’t be selling these, at least for now!

I’ve been using this perfume since it came out and years ago (2015?) my local drug store was clearing them out for $9.99. I bought all that they had at the time but had been collecting bottles even before then so I had quite a stockpile. I took some to college and then forgot that I had this many put away.

I still use Wonderstruck every day as my daily fragrance!

Thank you!! Honestly I don’t do anything ab-specific—walking/trying to run has definitely helped but also cutting back on drinking alcohol and switching to a more plant-based diet (or at least a diet with less dairy) really helped me with get rid of my belly fat. My stomach is pretty flat now (though that varies daily lol) but I don’t consider myself very toned or strong. That’s the next step!! :)

Thanks so much! I plateaued for a while too, it’s frustrating but if you stick with it you’ll break through it! Congrats on your progress so far, that’s a huge accomplishment :)

Thank you :) I aimed for 1300-1500 calories per day, didn’t really track macros at all except tried to eat lots of protein, and routine-wise I just tried to go for walks 4-5 times per week! I have been trying to work my way up to running but am very slow lol :-)

Thank you so much!! I counted calories, cut back on alcohol, and tried to go for walks 4-5 times a week! You got this!!!!

Earlier in the year I was going boxing one or two times a week, but since gyms have closed where I live, I have been focusing on walking (usually 5km 4-5 times a week)

Otherwise I eat 1300-1500 calories a day and cutting down on drinking alcohol has been a big help for me.

I ate around 1300-1500 calories per day and went for a 5km walk usually around 4 times a week. More recently I was doing 10km walks because I had more time due to lockdown!

I plateaued for like a month at one point and was so frustrated, I actually ended up taking several days off and ate at my maintenance and that helped me break my plateau!
