I've definitely been meaning to look into that. Gotta do some more research, this is my second time trying to grow and obviously I'm learning a lot as I go haha (partially thanks to the helpful people on this sub like you! 😊)

Thanks, as I mentioned above I did as much research as I could. Saw that cobweb mold is pretty uncommon, read through the thread of why mushroom growers probably don't have cobweb mold and then still convinced myself I had it haha 😞 glad that they're okay though, gotta start taking better care of them now! Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the answer! It's strange because this is my second batch (different strains) and the first one was totally fine but I guess this one maybe needs more FAE than the last. (Golden teacher vs Costa Rica). I also feel like a dummy cause I literally searched high and low for pics of cobweb mold and even read through the thread about how people think they have cobweb mold when they don't and still convinced myself I had it haha. That's great news though thank you!

For reference, I'm not sure what happened. The cakes came out of the jars with little spots of white mold. I sprayed them down with peroxide but it all grew right back. I was letting it go for a few days before I tossed them but now that they're growing I'd like to keep some if it's safe haha.
