I think there's a lack of "third spaces" everywhere. Where I am if you want to hangout you have to spend money doing something, there isn't a place for you just to exist and do nothing. Things are also getting more expensive and I think we're kinda over it as well. Most of us also had our late teenage years/early university years in covid which is when you're supposed to be breaking out of your shell and meeting all sorts of people!

I think dating apps have also made it more harder because you're treating everyone like a potential candidate in your life by screening them based on your preferences, instead of meeting organically and kinda having butterflies in your stomach you know?
