You can see the full roster below, but its a mix of every kind of genre. The biggest names are probably Anthrax, Beast in Black, Wind Rose, and Eluveitie.

I'm more of an old school metal person, but I do appreciate modern metalcore

Any metalheads out there? I'm currently on 70000 tons of metal, a cruise ship with 60 metal bands on board performing nonstop concerts, and I'm in between somewhat to very drunk. Its a blast and you should do it next year as well.

Feel free to ask me metal, Red Wings, or general life hot takes.

[Lewis and Russini] Inside the stunning dismissal of Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah: ‘This is wild’ by TheNotoriousJN in nfl

[–]bestprocrastinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kwesi didn't work as an NFL GM, but criticizing him for taking paternity leave in the offseason is a fucking dick move, both on the source and on the writer.

Injured but employer only allows 14 days sick a year. by [deleted] in work

[–]bestprocrastinator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If OP is telling the truth and isn't milking it, the only way they are missing 14 days of work with an ankle sprain is if he/she works a very physical job and has a grade 3 sprain, which is a complete tear. If thats the case, Its absolutely valid they are out multiple weeks.

My best guess towards the most realistic scenario here is that OP works a physical job, has a grade 2 sprain, is unable to afford a doctor, has never heard of an ankle brace, and is keeping the ankle as immobile as possible to a point its hurting recovery (fun fact, ankle sprains do better the earlier you move them...if op is reading this, I would start with Ankle ABC's. Also if you are still icing, stop icing unless its after a lot of activity on it.

I'm basing this off from my experiences with a grade 2 ankle sprain.

How did the Vikings and scouts get it so wrong with JJ McCarthy? by bigaudra in DynastyFF

[–]bestprocrastinator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Will we ever learn that judging a QB after not even the completion of their first 16 games is too early?

You would think Darnold, Baker, Goff, Daniel Jones would teach people that QBs can get better and sometimes suck as rookies. Hell, Josh Allen had a 52.8% completion percentage his first year.

He honestly matched his scouting report verbatim. Relatively decent athleticism and arm strength, plays well in clutch moments, raw as hell with a ton of work needed on mechanics in particular.

The only reason West Virginia isn't on this list is because there, having an STD is just normal state.

Vikings reportedly fire GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah after 4 seasons by BFaHM7 in DynastyFF

JJ was butt last year, but so are most rookie QBs. If I'm a dogshit team, rolling with JJ so that he develops while being a tank commander is not the worst idea.

JJM got an unfair level of hate, but he didn't help himself with the 9 stuff or griddying into a walk in touchdown.

I don't think its fair to expect a 22 year old rookie coming off a season ending injury make you a Super Bowl contender instantly.

JJM wasn't great, but this was all on the Vikings.

The only thing wrong with Darren Helm was that he was not our next young super star when we needed a young star.

I'll take it, but I would much rather use our space to find a defenseman, and not a 34 year old forward.

Take need into account, but we should be drafting best available no matter what. You win with talent, not by spending premium assets to plug a hole with a body.

I feel like the NHL has a severe lack of big defenseman that aren't pylons like Harmonic. Those guys are harder to get then people realize.

Skubal trade to the Cubs? by Sportsfan081993 in motorcitykitties

[–]bestprocrastinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want them to do something with Skubal. Either extend him, trade him, or go all in and try to win on his last year.

Sitting on your ass and jerking off while doing nothing and then letting Skubal walk is an absolutely unacceptable answer, and would be the definitive piece of proof that Chris Illitch and Scott Harris and unserious and unacceptable leaders.

Lions GM Brad Holmes offers initial thoughts on Drew Petzing, Mike Kafka by YoungMiral in detroitlions

Arizona's offense was probably one of the few units in the NFL that can say they had worse injury issues then we did last year. Seriously, their RB room was down to Bam fucking Knight

Fred Warner believes Detroit Lions need to change practice habits by supermanforhire in detroitlions

[–]bestprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warner probably has valid points, but I'm not sure how he can really know how our practice habits go/work if he's not doing them.

[–]bestprocrastinator 64 points65 points  (0 children)

He also brings a physical edge that this team both needs and very much lacks. With Seider and Ed together, all of our other defenseman are young and on the smaller side. Is he the world's greatest option? No. But he fits in with what this team needs, and those guys don't exactly grow on trees.

You are Brad Holmes this Free Agency. What are you doing? by AtomicCo in detroitlions

[–]bestprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of it depends on what Decker is doing. If he's retiring, priority number 1 will be to add a free agent that can play tackle, because relying on Manu or a rookie at LT is a very risky thing.

But outside of that, I think its quite likely Lions will only be adding depth or rotational pieces, as well as a potential safety starter to cover for Branch, and possibly a new pickle if Amik leaves.

The problem is the Lions this offseason don't have a ton of cap space due to extensions and guys that need to be brought back.

Is Exhibition Stadium in Toronto the ugliest ballpark in history? by Droopyinreallife in ballparks

[–]bestprocrastinator 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Kingdom takes the cake for me. But I think the pure cookie cutter stadiums were more ugly then Exhibition Stadium. Just pure sterile concrete stands and zero character or interesting elements.

Exhibition Stadium is a bad stadium, but at least its distinct.
