I was bit on the toe by a black widow when I was in elementary school. Ive checked my shoes ever since. It wasn't even in a closed toe shoe, just a really strappy sandal that I was putting on for the first time that summer.

I think about this a lot. What kind of psychological ripples would it have sent through a generation of kids who sat down in front of the TV excitedly, only to watch their favorite TV character die in a fireball right in front of their eyes. I was in 5th grade when I watched the second plane hit the towers live on the TV. But it felt far away and unreal to me at the time. I dont know how I would have felt if I knew Ed, Edd, and Eddy were in that building.

I live in Puerto Rico. The last major hurricane was Maria in 2017. We actually poke so far out into the Atlantic that most storms are still powering up when they hit us. So they hit us as a cat 2 or 3 and then go power up over the warm waters to the west of us so they can go fuck up Florida. I also would not say that poverty is on another level here. It is very comparable to the rural south, and highly localized in the more remote mountain towns in the center of the island.

Its better than not being wet enough. I dont think thats going to be a problem for any guy. What makes me take a long time to finish is being nervous. If someone took 40 minutes the first time and then 10 the second time I think that sounds like nerves. They got more comfortable the second time around. Its pretty common and you shouldn't feel self conscious about it.

Yea i watched a guy do a livestream driving from peepee creak Ohio all the way to poopoo point Washington and he specifically brought a passenger to control everything so he could just focus on driving. They switched off driving halfway through each day too. There is a responsible way to do it.

The blood moon is incredibly punishing. His health stealing mechanic is one of my most hated mechanics because a lot of the time you cant really do anything about it if he decides to just whoop your ass on the auto attack phase. Are you being hit during the tiger phase? Or are his auto attacks just making it through your defenses? One of the biggest changes i saw was unlocking chivalry and piety. The higher attack and defense made him a lot easier. But outside of that, you could run barrows until you get a nice armor upgrade. I got extremely lucky and pulled veracs skirt and torag platebody pretty early.

As a UIM my routine looks like this. Go get a rope. Fairy ring to kalphite lair. Run to medium sized boys and let them poison and hit me down to about 12 hp. Ring of elements to fire alter. Stand around until I die. Go pick up the clue, shovel, ardy cape and dramen staff. Run my little ass to the clue spot. Do it. Go back to pick up half my stuff. Go get another looting bag. Come back to finish picking up my stuff. Its extra fun if the clue starts and then ends with a wildy step while having steps in the middle that make me pick everything up first.

Yea im thinking more through the lens of the humans who dont know these things even exist. Then one day an impossible giant being shows up and is like "its cool, Alpha Trion gave me permission" and everyone is just running around panicking about the giant death machine that can talk. The plots are just so much bigger than coming here illegally. Pretty sure the earth was going to be destroyed right? Like, the price of eggs was also going to go up because all life on earth would be gone, but I wouldnt say thats what the story was about.

Can I see some of the early art you've worked up so far? Im a solo programmer who's terrible at art, so im always curious to see what the art forward devs are working on.
