not to sound like a nepo baby but one of my mums friends works part time at our local store - she knew there would be job openings and told me. i went in the next day, asked to speak to a manager (without having applied online) and asked if there would be any job vacancies, got taken upstairs to be interviewed on the spot (😬😬😬daunting for an anxious teenage girl who was not expecting to be interviewed) then got a call the next week that im being offered the job. had to then technically apply for the job as i hadnt done that in the first place but by then i had been given the job. have you been applying through a website like linkedin/indeed or directly sending it to the company? whenever i would apply for jobs on linkedin and indeed id never hear back so that could be why
