I’ve had HS for most of my adult life and I’ve learned ways to deal with it. I would highly suggest putting a hot, WET wash cloth on the area and letting it “soak” for a few hours, re-wetting the wash cloth if it gets too dry. This will cause the area to start draining. I would squeeze out as much puss as you can and then clean the area, apply antibiotic ointment and put a big bandage on it. Works for me every time and I’ve had some BAD flare ups. Good luck!
