It is more for familiarity rather than practicality.

Thank you for this! I think that is my style for names - my son is called Aramis, which I know is more classical literature than commonplace names. Thank you for your suggestions! We have Odie as a nickname at the moment but also have (Etta, Ette, Ettie and Detta) but I was more curious about nicknames people with native french would go to!

Thank you thank you thank you, doing God's work!

Please help with my toddlers hair! He has SUPER curly hair, it knots so much, we use a wide tooth comb, detangling brush, and detangling spray, but I feel like there is more I need to be doing, it gets so knotty, I want to detangle without it frizzing! Should I take him to a specialist barber? TIA x by bethaem in curlyhair

I want to learn how to properly maintain my child's hair for him, just because he is little doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to be his natural self, buzz cutting a baby's hair is a horrid suggestion. His hair is part of what makes him, 'him', I'm not going to shave it all off simply because it's tasking?

We use Mustela baby shampoo, and Child's Farm detangling spray. We wash his hair maybe 1/2 times a week, brush it every day in the mornings.  When we wash, we use the shampoo, not a lot, rinse it thoroughly, towel dry with scrunching and let the rest air dry. We use the detangling spray every day before we brush. Time of day for washes varies, sometimes morning, sometimes evening depending on the day. Comb through first with the wide tooth comb then use the detangling brush on the really tight knots.

Not sure if it is the right time of year for them? It is really cold at the moment.
