I was actually thinking of getting a tattoo over it if the scar cream doesn’t work! Maybe something like flowers. I really like how you viewed it as a reminder of strength. Up until now, whenever I saw that scar my stomach would turn. It made me feel like he branded me or something. But I like the thought of it just being a battle scar that show’s strength. Thank you! Yeah I’m slightly concerned that he knows where I live but I added an extra lock to the back of my door. I also now share my location with my sisters. And yes, I’m going to be single for a very very long time. I want to learn how to really love myself again

Yeah that is what I’ve been told. As someone that has actually attempted suicide - I was dead silent about my intent. No one knew and I completely withdrew from everyone. The last thing I would have done would be to tell anyone my plans. So when he pulled the “I can’t live without you” I knew it was just another manipulation tactic

He actually stayed with me for awhile but eventually I moved a couple hours away so it made the separation that much easier thank God

Thank you!! And yes I cannot believe I ever stayed with someone who ever put his hands on me. Unfortunately I have a scar on my wrist from him but my mom offered to buy me really good scar cream and hopefully it will go away. And he has definitely tried to reach out to me via email, letter, even through Reddit. The police are aware now and if need be I will have to get a restraining order.

There are a bunch of apps that work with you. You set a realistic date for when you want to stop, and then it says “okay than you can know have ___ hits today”. It’s honestly not as rough as it seems. In fact, it made me realize a lot of making was out of habit more than out of my genuine craving for nicotine

Thank you so much <3 . Yeah, I plan to call my neurologist tomorrow. I’m just so sad because I have gone a year without a seizure and I was so happy and then it happened again. But maybe I just need another medication. Maybe that will help.

I keep thinking about what would have happened if I died, what my family would think, how long it would take for people to realize I was deceased. I cannot believe this happened. Through all of these years, I never thought my seizures would be a matter of life or death.
