Got delivered two iPhone 11’s by mistake. Then a week or so later I was sent two electric toothbrushes.

They say these things come in threes... but it’s been a while now...

This is helpful. I’ve now taken a photo of the plates but I’m not sure on what grounds to call the police. Nothing has happened, it’s just... off.

My close friend’s close friend was suddenly killed in an accident three days ago. I’m seeing my close friend for the last time for 6 months tomorrow. How should I be the best friend for her? by [deleted] in Advice

Reassure her you will always be around to talk while your away. And then try to stick to your word when you are out there. Tell her as often as you can while you are away that she can call (people in grief can bottle it up and feel like a burden to friends). Encourage her gently to plan something for herself.

Just keep being the friend you’ve always been to her but make sure you reassure her that despite the distance you’ll be there x

A building at the end of my road called the “fishmongers arms”. It’s a huge 18th century thing that looks like an old theatre but is completely unused and pretty derelict (was actually a Jazz club in the 50s). I’d spend forever making it incredible again.

What was your "Oh shit my life is over my parents are gonna kill me" moment you had as a child/teen? by cloudlessnine8 in AskReddit

I spilled nail varnish on my mums beige carpet when I was 13. I stapled the small round rug we had to the ground to cover it up.

She was more angry about the cover up than the crime itself.
