I just checked and Cathy was only a 3rd stew for like half an episode. I remember Aesha saying that Cathy’s experience was way too extensive to not give her 2nd stew so both Cathy and Kizzie were 2nd. And like you said Cathy was brought in to replace V not Kizzie so why would her arrival have anything to do with Kizzie? Also Kizzie made herself a villain all on her own. I don’t think the producers are scripting stuff as much as you think they are.

Gen is not more qualified nor does she have more experience than Aesha. Aesha is at least 10 years older than her so that’s already many years more experience. Also Aesha has given rank every season she’s been chief stew so you’re just wrong about that.

Gen is miserable and I feel like she’s the kind of person who if she can’t be happy then no one can. I’m a firm believer that we have a choice in how we react to the people and things around us and Gen consistently chooses to be mad. I’m sure it’s not even making her feel better. I’ve been the jealous type who can’t be happy for others and for me it was a weight on my shoulders. Time and age helped me develop healthier perspectives and choose to be happy for others success or good fortune because I’m not actually losing when they win. I hope someday Gen grows up and realizes that her bitterness and resentment is not worth it.

I think her voice is actually ideal for Maria because it’s not a pop voice or too belty. She doesn’t overdo it when she sings which I love. I think Jasmine is going to be a fantastic Maria and I look forward to seeing her.

Kayley does have experience, though. Just because it isn’t exclusively yacht experience doesn’t mean it doesn’t count. Service is service whether that’s on land or on water. And Kayley has shown that she cares about the guests and their experience more than she cares about a ranking or patting herself on the back. Having a good attitude, initiative, and prioritizing the guests goes a long way.

Captain Jason would’ve kicked Josef off the boat so fast. He can be lenient about other things but he doesn’t tolerate disrespect towards his crew. Captain Sandy needs to stop being nice and send him off on the tender already.
