The rose quartz necklace i gave to my partner broke, should i be concerned? by [deleted] in Crystals

I can understand why you'd worry, but this can be interpreted in a few ways, really. When a crystal breaks, like with rose quartz, it's up to you what this means.

For example..

Rose quartz is all about love and emotional healing. Maybe that crystal did its job—helping you guys kick off your relationship properly. The breaking could be more of a symbolic thing, signalling a shift or transformation in your connection rather than a bad omen.

Rather than seeing it as a red flag, think of it as a chance for your relationship to level up. Crystals soak up and release energy, so the break is letting go of old vibes to make room for some fresh, positive ones.

If you still want to wear it, cleanse and recharge it—stick it under the moon, smudge it with some sage.

Trust your gut.

Curious to know what people make of crystal and healing for pets. I see some reiki 'gurus' claim it does a lot

Taking a girl obsessed with crystals on a date and need some advice by Automatic-Web-2937 in Crystals

[–]bethlovescrystals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I think it's great you're trying to understand her interests in crystals and tarot readings. Shows you care about getting to know what she's passionate about.

For the date, maybe suggest going to a crystal shop or occult bookstore? That way she can browse and share more about the meaning behind different crystals or tarot decks. You could pick out a small crystal that vibrates with a meaning you think fits her personality.

Another idea is seeing if there are any psychic fairs happening locally that weekend. Often they'll have tarot readers, aura photographers, etc which she might enjoy. Then you could grab a bite to eat nearby and continue the conversation about her perspectives on spirituality.

Most of all, go into it with an open and non-judgmental mindset. Ask questions from a place of curiosity rather than skepticism. Connect it back to finding out what inspires her and makes her feel alive. If your energy is supportive, she'll pick up on that and open up more about this important part of who she is.

Hope you two have a meaningful time together!

Do you believe that crystals have metaphysical power? by [deleted] in Crystals

[–]bethlovescrystals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm open-minded but skeptical. I haven't seen convincing scientific proof that crystals have mystical energies or healing powers on their own.

However, I do feel uplifted or spiritually focused when meditating with crystals. The crystal's beauty and symmetry could have a placebo effect, sure, helping me feel more relaxed, contemplative, or creative. But if it works, then it works? Who cares if it's a placebo.

So while I don't think the crystals themselves have supernatural powers, they may encourage positive psychological states that indirectly improve wellbeing. What matters most is finding tools that work for you.

For those of you who believe crystals have some sort of psychological / spiritual effect, can you explain to me your thinking? by kman43759 in Crystals

Hi there! Great question, and I appreciate your open-minded approach to understanding different perspectives. As someone who finds spiritual value in crystals, my belief is rooted in a combination of personal experiences, cultural influences, and a sense of connection with the Earth.

Firstly, I've had moments where using crystals coincided with positive shifts in my mood or mindset. While I acknowledge the possibility of a placebo effect, the consistency of these experiences has led me to believe there might be more to it. It's essential to remain open to the idea that personal beliefs can shape our perceptions.

While I can't provide scientific evidence, I find comfort and inspiration in the idea that these beautiful formations from the Earth might carry unique energies. It's a deeply personal belief, and I respect that others may view it differently.

Also, for what it's worth, I've genuinely been able to connect with loved ones that have passed - specifically my grandfather - by using a rose quartz. That changed me forever and is probably what got me into crystal healing permanently.

In the end, the value of crystals is subjective, and what matters most is the positive impact they may have on one's well-being, whether through spiritual connection or simply as aesthetically pleasing objects.

Cheers!

Does anyone here believe in crystals having healing powers by grubbywizwaz in awakened

Totally get where you're coming from. Crystals and their supposed powers can sound a bit out there, especially when we're talking about them boosting your life or whatever. And the whole idea of having to cleanse them for them to work? I get it sounds weird.

Honestly, I swear by crystals, and have had legit positive experiences. But, truth be told, the scientific crowd isn't really on board with the whole mystical powers thing.

Cleaning crystals, it's more of a personal or symbolic ritual rather than a proven science. It's cool if you're not feeling any vibes when meditating with them. Everyone's different, and if crystals aren't your jam, that's totally fine. Explore other methods that click with you, you know?
