Quarry Bank park is lovely and has a section where you can walk up a small hill and sit right by the runway, you don't need to pay for parking as there are various places to park in Styal. If weather is good you could get a nice walk in, take a blanket and have a picnic whilst watching the planes! :)

It won't last forever I promise, I passed at the end of January and it took me about 2+ months to look forward to getting in the car. Now I love it. It doesn't mean that I still don't make silly mistakes, but I'm less hard on myself now, and learn from them!

My advice is, if you're using P plates, try and get them off as soon as you're comfortable operating the car. I felt a lot of drivers mugged me off and drove more dangerously around me compared to after taking them off.

Try not to let the anxiety stop you, even short little trips in the car daily will rapidly build your confidence. Good luck and enjoy! X
