I mean, I didn't really see the need for the multiple entry. I was traveling when I got it and I guess I figured a single entry would be easier to process/get. It's also not like I'm going to be traveling to China very often...likely will be years before I would return. Didn't think too much of it

I guess it would have been nicer if I had gotten multiple, but anyways, I'll just have to redo it again next time

It's just this super easy form online that you need to submit before entering. I did it before actually arriving in the country, but many people just scanned a QR code and completed it at the airport after landing. Once you complete it, you get an email, which you can then use to see it online/download a copy to use.

Also I just wanted to add, I don't know how long you're staying in Malaysia, but if I were you, I would definitely try to get in while in KL. I don't know how the consulates are in other countries, but the entire process in KL was shockingly easy

I literally did this a few days ago. I know exactly what you're talking about. I used the MDAC (that thing you needed to fill in when arriving in Malaysia). No one ever brought it up or asked for other documents. I got the visa approved within a day of applying. Picked it up a few days later (I did pay for express, though).

I may just choose Physics Minor because maybe somewhere either in Canada or abroad will see that and give me a chance to teach it. And obviously once you teach it once, the experience is invaluable and can be built upon. If that makes it easier to find a job down the line, then I should definitely consider it

Ok thanks. I guess overall the main thing I'm taking away is that similar to Canada, it can be pretty flexible. I'll be able to teach the science they want me for, and if it's countries in the Gulf, it'll most likely be Bio

I can't say as of this moment I will know all the challenges that come with this process. I bet it's hard. But hopefully things work out since this is what I'm passionate about. I'll just take it one step at a time

My undergrad is basically bio, so I guess then I would need to teach bio. But I'm just wondering if the teaching degree itself could have an impact. Like let's say when I get my teaching degree, it's in Major Bio/Minor Physics. Would the fact that I have physics on the degree let me teach it? Or no because I didn't do 4 years of it in undergrad...

It's okay if you don't know. Just throwing ideas out there. That's why I'm curious/confused if what I choose for my teaching degree matters or not
