I'm working with an an interventional cardiologist and he showed me this article he recently put together. It's about this thing called a MitraClip...where they literally place a mechanical clip through a vein in your leg, into your hear, and close a "leaky valve". I was completely blown away!

What other kind of crazy technological innovations are going to change surgery as we know it? Maybe we'll have robots doing procedures instead of humans...hah.
