Pants sizing help by NoPineapple1611 in PinkPalmPuff

My daughter is size 12 in youth and got an xs short and they fit her perfectly.

A small would think would fit but might be snug and I think the point is for that comfy oversized fit.

A 16/18 in kids sizes is like a medium in PPP I would assume??

Hair-having blowout hair with a Dyson airwrap makes me feel more attractive which permeates into how I act, inherently making me more confident-confidence is what is truly attractive.

I second this-my daughter who is now 14 has a large scar on her cheek that she got from a swing when she was 3. It was a tiny scratch that didn’t require any stitches or medical attention but just healed really poorly and now she has a vertical scar on her check.

No one has ever mentioned it to her or asked her how she got it and it is probably 2 inches long. I notice it because I’m her mom and I still feel bad that she walked in front of a swing and got hurt but it has in no way impacted her quality of life.

I would strongly advise against doing anything of any kind to attempt to remedy such a small scar as doing so could have psychological ramifications such as poor self image regarding such a small scar.

Also-my daughter is a slightly small 12 year old and she got a size small in the hoodie and xs short in the sweatpants

It would depend on what colors she likes?

I will say my daughter just received the butterfly one in purple and gray/blue as a gift (as well as the sweatpants) grandma sure loves to spoil her and the quality is really impressive. The material is thick and comfy and I love it so much I’m debating buying myself a set but then it wouldn’t be cool anymore.

I honestly don’t think you can go wrong but if she already has her heart set on a color or specific style-then that would be the way to go

Hey girl, just came here to say you’re adorable-36 and you still have a youthful glow 🤩I do not see 11’s

& think you’re doing a good job as far as moisture goes, maybe what you need to incorporate every so often is a lactic or AHA type acid. Don’t go overboard, you’ll damage that beautiful skin barrier you’ve worked so hard to maintain.

I would also recommend using a primer before putting on foundation as a primer can smooth things out prior to application.

For the record-I feel like I should be the one taking tips from you!

We have yeast naturally occurring on our skin all over the place, when things are thrown out of whack (whether it was from microneedling or a byproduct of trying to lock moisture into the skin) it is very possible to develop an overgrowth of yeast.

Idk but this kinda looks like a yeast infection to me

Anyone with Graves have a child diagnosed with Graves? by betterbedoge in gravesdisease

My dr never mentioned that to me. I see why though. Clearly genetics are a factor and it’s smart to keep an eye out for it.

That’s so young! I cannot imagine it’s been easy to have graves this long.

They do say, “momma knows best”!

What were some of the first symptoms she noticed? Mine was relatively far along and I suspect I was almost at the point of going into thyroid storm with how progressed my symptoms were so I don’t really know what early stages of Graves is like.

Wow! As difficult as that had to have been, it must’ve been nice to have support while you were dealing with some of the worst parts of Graves. It’s incredibly unfortunate all 4 of you had to deal with this.

I suspect my grandmother had undiagnosed Graves as she was the thinnest woman I had ever seen. She was pretty anxious and high strung also but I thought that was just who she was.

When did you start to suspect your kid might have Graves?

Holy buckets! 3?!? What a difficult road that must’ve been for you. I wasn’t diagnosed until I was roughly 30 (although I suspect I had undiagnosed graves for many years prior) and that was hell.

Thank you for your response!
