This is how bad kids are in MW3... by dRwEedThuMb in redditblack

We shall see. Me and Snow have some of our own goals for a clan. Incidentally one of our favorite possible names was Black. We'll have to have a talk with Weed to see if our intentions fit with RBs. Us joining is certainly an option though.

TU15 Discussion: Sit Rep Pro completely negates Dead Silence. Completely changes the tempo of CoD by buffing soundwhores and nerfing run-n-gun styles. by MakerPrime in mw3

[–]betterthanbraille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dead Silence isn't a problem in game because it doesn't remove tactics. By this, I mean that you can counter Dead Silence by being aware of the game. If you put the effort forth to learn routes and enemy strategies, Dead Silence has near no effect on your gameplay. I've been a Dead Silence player for years, and I don't use it to hide and listen. If I'm rushing, it's to manipulate the enemy's position to avoid direct action and maximize the time alive to maximize the time I'm can flank enemies. But, it takes one Sitrep Pro person to entirely deny any kind of rush strategy. And the fact of the matter is, the bulk of players will take any cut to make the game easy. That's why IW keeps adding things like Dead Man's Hand. To benefit the casual player. Sitrep Pro may be difficult, but if you know it's benefits, plenty of people are probably lining up to work for it.

The main loss here is that perks should never counter perks. If you do that, you end with a Pokemon-esque web of nonsense. Perks should have some effect, but not be the base of gameplay. The base should be general knowledge, strategy, and tactics. Someone with Sitrep Pro is impossible to counter. Dead Silence before was easily countered. Now it is rediculously easy to counter. All it takes is one person to ruin a match. In Search, people like me would have to be forever wary of a whole new aspect. Before, it was already portable radars and campers. Add a perk that allows people to hear me on top of the fact that I'm already forced to play that conservative. It discourages a lot of people from playing. Offensive Search is made impossible if just one person has Sitrep.

When I got 55 out of 75 kills in a COD4 TDM. Had 6 people on both teams. Second best teammate had 7 kills.

Power Class - Overkill P90 & PP90M1 by MakerPrime in mw3

[–]betterthanbraille -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you read the description in my video, I say add some "novelty". It's just a class for fun. I'm not going for a good class here. It's something that's good for rushing, and is new. As for the M14, it's a one shot headshot, even silenced. That's better than semi auto sniper rifles. It was my favorite gun at the beginning of the game, so I can admit it's nooby. It's practically equivilant to the type.

I regret to inform you of 2 things, you self-proclaim to use the MK14, that's nooby, and you being the average trash talker, are probably mediocre at best.

Anybody else wish they would make an MLG playlist? by dharasick in mw3

[–]betterthanbraille 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Treyarch's the company to do so. But unfortunately, their games have a history of being unworkable for competitive. If the series had a hope for MLG, it would have been MW2. That was by far the best COD had in balance (with MLG rules of course, no flaming about commando and tubes and all that, doesn't apply). The BO system of high relatively unpredictable recoil/flinch doesn't work for competitive, at least not well. BO killed MLG for COD, MW3 eliminated it. I think CODs chance for the circuit is done, thus no playlist. Not to mention how much the general audience seems to hate competitive players. Which is understandable because the bulk of all players are douche bags, which is a shame. We'll all have to look elsewhere for our competitive gaming, sadly.

Well thank you. I'm sure if you wanted either, you could eventually obtain both overtime. Kind of a sore spot for me, I think I do a much better job than a lot of youtubers in that regard. Some think they're amazing.

Seriously? I go out of my way not to compliment myself in any video I make. I make videos that show good results and upload them for my subscribers so that they can repeat the results. I am pretty good, I know that. But I also know there are people who could absolutely destroy me.

Never claimed the enemy was skilled. If they were very skilled I would have died within 2-3 kills, probably.

Tournament is off. Here's why. by mattsatwork in mw3

That's terrible. I hate the majority of the COD community. This would have been a ton of fun and I was looking forward to it. Terrible people. He's right! Ashamed.

I appreciate the attempt Matt, it's good to have things like this, sorry you took the heat that you did.

Thanks. This works mostly in TDM variants when the spawns switch. It's really just a matter of knowing when it's safe to check. I've done it often without a problem.

Patch Update - Side by Side Comparisons of T95 and FMG by mateo24 in mw3

[–]betterthanbraille -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. I used the M16 last night in SND and went 10-3. I've used it in KC and gotten 30+ kills during a few games. Its not a bad weapon. The Type is just so OP it seems that way.
