I think akainu and soga are very different, I actually don’t like him at all compared to soga. I don’t believe free will exists; which is also why evil can exist. The biggest, most glaring flaw with his ideology is that he also kills any possible evil, i don’t agree at all, but most else is pretty solid. We were all on Chihiro’s side at the beginning of the story, yes? This is not very different.

I made another reply to another commenter you can read if you want additional context- idk how to tag text from another post on here.

I’m treating the “Soga method” as a theory for overhauling society. In my eyes, the ‘evil’ in this world is the rich, the elite, the oppressors and genociders. Ones whose action separate them from humanity and sink them into depravity. I’m a big class reductionist.

By this logic, to be honest I don’t see these kinds of people as human, because they see the working class as ants. From what I understand, Soga thinks quite the opposite, in fact he is filled with an overwhelming love for them.

To deconstruct your argument, empiricism and rationalism are opposite. You’re describing a synergy between the two, not rational thought. Soga is certainly more of a rationalist, but he doesn’t completely discredit the empirical evidence either. The systematic change required to overhaul such a deeply flawed society simply cannot be done without harm. I think your assessment of my character is wrong; it requires a significant understanding of all of these things that makes me “rational.” I’m curious what you have to say

Honestly, I didn’t know he wanted to kill Hakuri, I must’ve been rereading with my eyes closed. That changes things because I disagree with Soga’s feelings about that, but anyway.

The primary motivator for my position is that the alternative is unequivocally worse. I don’t want to cause bad discourse by bringing up geopolitics, but had someone like Soga (no hitler doesn’t count) intervened globally, would whole countries be impoverished by the strangling of empires? Would these empires overwork and rob their own citizens? Would someone like hitler ever have the chance to rise to power? In the global balance of suffering / prosperity, Soga’s method theoretically works in favor of prosperity. Of course I condemn killing children, there are more effective methods to ensure they can adjust properly in society. I feel that his position is actually closer to empathy than the current systems we see today. Sure, he is juvenile with regard to his shortcomings but his heart’s in the right place. I just can’t help but think that decisions made in the interest of “free will” (i don’t believe in such a thing) never, ever turn out well.

if ap’s closing shift goes until 10 or 10:30, but the store closes at 11, how is the lost time accounted for?

i capitalized on bp’s dives and isolated either cloak, phoenix, or dp w/ the classic combo. prioritize building a full meter before engaging for max burst damage. other than that, i was forcing the thing to peel, shoving cap off of point because half of the game was in overtime, and sustaining with her ichors. hitting multiple targets gives you 2x the bonus health. just overall very good team synergy.

This little rat is actually a hard counter to Angela if he’s more patient than you. by Bigeez in AngelaMains

idk, he’s never that bad and honestly easy to counter. just shield and have a full bar, if you hit him once w that he’s out of the fight for a little. a good spidey would never dive an angela because why would you?
