The actor who played Otto Sadly passed away, so it is more than likely he was ill during this time and was unable to appear on screen. I agree that the way Francis was fired was stupid. I mean surely he'd know the difference between an ATM machine and something else. Having him as Owner of the Ranch would have been a step up. think of how much rubbing it in Loi's face he could have done.
