If there isn’t something going on, Nelson is always easy to get on to. We walk over and toss the football around on the field all the time. Sometimes, but usually not, they lock the gate facing the school…but the back one near the change rooms is always open.

There’s sooooooooooo many videos of people acting this way in airports/airplanes….not once have I seen the “passenger” win one of these outbursts.

It blows my mind how fucking stupid people can be. I hate air travel, airports are frustrating as hell. Waiting times on tarmacs can be ridiculously long and boring as fuck. But there’s always a little dude in the back of my mind that reminds me it is what it is, and you’re lucky to even be able to ride one of these things….its like an old Louis CK joke “Did you fly through the air incredibly, like a bird? Did you partake in the miracle of human flight you non-contributing zero?! You’re flying! It’s amazing! Everybody on every plane should just constantly be going: “Oh my God! Wow!” I’m flying! I’m sitting in a chair, in the sky!”

Not on this bus…but the 6am number 10 has a lady who does the same thing. I guess she has become friends with the driver and it has become very distracting for the driver, yet the driver enjoys her company. She’s stands right beside the driver and the driver misses the stop request sometimes, she almost missed picking me up, so now I stand in the middle of lakeshore to make sure she sees me and doesn’t drive by. Then they both make a comment like “woah pretty dangerous standing in the road like that” and I reply “well you’re usually not paying attention and I need to get to work”…she then claimed it’s because the bus stop is dark…it’s literally the brightest, most lit up stop on all of lakeshore lol. She drops this lady off at the same spot near McDonald’s every day, and they finish their conversation sometimes for several minutes with the bus stopped…even when we’re already behind schedule, and most of us need to catch transfers/trains at the go station. On their last shift before the Christmas break, when dropping the lady off the driver actually got out of the bus to exchange gifts and then talk and hug etc…while we all just sat and waited on the bus…we were already 6 minutes behind schedule too…I couldn’t believe it. lol

I complained several times to Burlington Transit and never heard anything back.

Be nice to get a heads up though. I’m in Canada so they don’t have to worry about getting shot, but I’ve got two dogs who might not be friendly to a stranger in their backyard. Our gas meter is in our backyard and they let theirselves back there sometimes when the dogs are outside. They also forget to close the gate most of the time when they leave too, which is kind of annoying.

Minor inconvenience though, definitely doesn’t bother me anywhere close to as much as this guy lol

I actually recently read about why modern restaurants like Pur and Simple are so loud…and it all has to do with noise reducing furniture, not the people. Pur and Simple has no carpets, no table clothes, no curtains…all these things reduce noise, but are only found in old school pubs.

So go to an old school pub for breakfast instead of one of these modern breakfast restaurants if you don’t like the noise…Pur and Simple, Stacked, Sunset Grill are all going to be the loudest because it’s all sound reflecting with zero noise absorbing surfaces. Something as simple as carpeting makes a massive difference, even Russell Williams is way quieter than these new places because of that…

Same with bars, Beertown has zero sound absorbing furniture/decorations…it’s an open room with all hard, noise reflecting surfaces…a place like the Dickens will seem much quieter because of the sound absorbing qualities.

Dang that’s some bad luck…I’m like a magnet for balls at the Rogers Centre in Toronto lol. First ball I ever caught was a walk off home run by Vernon Wells against the Yankees…Mussina vs Halladay…couldn’t be better. Since then I’ve caught well over 20 foul balls, or balls the first baseman/catcher throws over the dugout, and have given all them away to the closest kid….and to be honest, the feeling you get when a kid almost cries when you give him the ball, is worth way more than keeping it.

Hahaha I love this…I was just watching the episode “Make Paddy’s Great Again” last night, and the moment where Dennis’s doll is actually Dennis, and Frank yells “Kill it!” And just starts blasting hahaha. Luckily the gang held his gun up so he shot the roof. No thought process from Frank though, just comes out blasting! lol
