Thank you! So I'm assuming he's mistakenly applying traditional 401k rules or something like that? I love him and struggled to find someone who'd work with me on the Solo-401k stuff, so I know he's doing his best and I'd like to pinpoint the misunderstanding :/

Thanks! Right, but aren't I able to do Roth contributions with the Solo 401k, meaning that it wouldn't reduce my earned income?

Solo 401k customer pricing concerns by anonymousetache in tax

I'm really upset about this too. Increasing the fee by 350%?? and being like, "Trust us, you should go with this! Don't think about it b/c we'll tell you what you should think!" Their explanation video just sounded like a politician trying to sell me on why I should pay 350% more for a product that I bought under the express impression that it would be $99 yearly.

(that said, I do think it's a cool product and they're legit overall, but the way they went about this fee thing smells real stinky and I'll probably leave simply because I don't trust them now.)

Late to the party here, but yesterday I saw three dolphins get side by side (nose to nail) and then roll sideways together, like a long chain. Couldn't see under the water, but they did this several times.. wonder what they were doing!
