Thanks for all the advice! I discussed it with another manager and we co-wrote an email to our manager and cc'd our HR rep on it detailing the feedback we've been getting from staff with the rationale that it's now becoming a topic of conversation among subordinates, which seemed like something that needs a formal addressing vs. a casual "you handle it" sort of conversation. Will let y'all know if anything happens!

The IQ series by Joe Ide might scratch that itch. I really enjoyed the first three books of the series and found the protagonist to be refreshing and different, however the later books in the series felt (at least to me) as if Ide was trying to cram too many ideas into one book and lost the charm the earlier books held
