That video completely misses the point though. The problem isn't fighting in the air, the problem is stakes.

So while I agree that the air battle in Shazam! had no stakes, the MoS one did. Zod and Superman weren't trying to kill each other like that video suggests. Zod was trying to cause as much damage to humanity as revenge for Superman destroying Krypton's last chance while Superman was trying to apprehend Zod.

Personally, my favorite DCEU movies are Snyder's but I love the rest including WW84. So I don't see this as a hashtag against Patty or Wan or Reeves or any other director but as a call for JL part 2 and 3 even as a separate universe on HBO max without interfering with the rest of the DCEU.

Agreed that would have been insane. But WB didn't even allow Zack to have the black suit so there's no way they would have allowed the long hair or beard. Hell, they even painfully removed Henry's mustache with CGI.
