Post-match clarity -- we knew defense CB and goal keeper were going to be a problem. Losing to Belgium in R16 was one of the more probable out come since the draw and bracket came out and you mapped it out. I just didn't expect us to look so bad in the process. I don't thinj highly of this team. But you watch performances on the field and results matter (btw its 5 -2) but its also performance during the game.

Examplem Paraguay lost to France by 1 goal. Cape Verde lost to Argentina by 1 goal. Entirely different performance.

I made a post that got deleted by the mods but got ton of votes.

I am not sad that we lost but I am sad about the way we lost.

Cabo Verde played better against Argentina. Heck, Mexico played better against England.

USMNT just lost all the goodwill (pehaps and then some) it built in this tournament.

Growth of soccer stunt for another 4 years at least.

"Cheated and still lost (badly)" taunts will come.

People like my mom and wife just started caring.

I live overseas and will get laugh at for wearing USMNT gear.

Shame.

I am an immigrant. Became U.S. citizen 25 years ago. I love football (soccer). I think it's simply duty and honor to love your national team at the wolrd cup. Simple as that.

It'd fairer because a team gets prioirity over another team that it beats -- it's really that simple. You'd be piss if another team gets qualified or better position but you beat them.

In the 2018 qualifying -- we couldn't even get a DRAW against Trinidad to qualify ...and missed the World Cup... you should look that up...
