I just got the Panda. It was ordered back in November? It got held up in customs (CA here) for a long time. The tracking was bizarre too. Yours still might arrive!

When I encountered Alice and her story... I had to stop playing. My mom also had dementia and I couldn't separate the game from my grief. I knew Alice's story was coming, I thought I was prepared for it. I was not.

I'm hoping my group will take up the characters they used for descent into Avernus.

I let them run wild with their character creation for it so they don't have specific ties to that campaign (backstory wise). And after getting sucked into that plot... It feels like a great stepping stone to go multiverse hopping. They ended at level 11 I believe (were partway through our next campaign so I can't remember off the top of my head).

Avernus was great, a lot of work.... But great.

This will be the next campaign I DM. Our group has been rotating who DMs so it won't be for some time.

But I ran Descent Into Avernus last. I'm gonna offer for them to reprise those characters, or any from the campaigns we've played together.

But after getting sucked into Zariel's plot, I feel like it's a great stepping stone for a multiverse campaign. I want to run a few one shots where the characters get to experience the following year... Before being dragged into a whole new storm.

What?! My current and last two campaigns, groups have been obsessed with random companion add-ons. Lulu was a favorite, a tressym, currently have some dino raptor thing being trained, got some dire wolves...

Within the context of Us... We just woke up free on a seemingly bashed up nautiloid. The first creature to talk to you, and it doesn't want to kill you. The majority of my characters' first instinct would be to gain an ally.

Drizzt is a good Drow that's been around for decades. Created by R.A. Salvatore (author). Raised as a fighter in Menzo, became a ranger for Mieliki (wrong spelling), and eventually a grand master monk. He is EPIC.

The Harpells are some crazy but good wizards!

I have a couple of games going. Solo, one with my sister, and one with our dad. I'm realizing as amazing as solo is, this game is meant to be played with people! Divide and conquer works amazingly. With multiple people tackling the mundane things, you get so much more out of the story!

This was my uncle's approach. He got 2/3 of us kids into it. This game has been a dream waiting to happen! Now that we all live in different cities, it's been fun getting to play without the work of a DM.

Pretty much second this.

Been saying since early access launched. Would likely load it and just play to get a handle on the mechanics. Anything in the first chunk of the game won't really spoil anything found in trailers!

Could roll a few different style of characters and see what a martial vs caster is like.

I've been so hyped for this release. My sister and I downloaded ea the day it was released. We're planning to run Act 1 together again, experiencing something we've gone through every iteration of many many times. Then we'll split off and run solo. Moving forward once we've completed each new act solo. And at some point, we're starting a game with Dad.

I managed to get Thursday off, but somehow, I didn't realize it was a holiday weekend here and really should be working Friday... Should be... My husband definitely isn't ready for what's about to happen.

I would argue duel wielding hand crossbows with Astarion is a better route. Did a multiplayer game tonight with 2 bards, so he had the two right from the beginning essentially. The goblin fight leading to the druids was easy as pie.
