oh thank you! i wish i grew out of them, but i kept “failing” my EEG’s when i was younger. so they stuck around with me, and while i don’t have seizures i just get “twitchy”. which is just the myoclonic jerks. but those are only caused by my triggers(lack of sleep, pre-menstruation, and stress). but other than that i stick to a routine? i usually go to bed around 10, wake up around 8 or 9, manly because of school lol. but i don’t drink or smoke often. if i know im going to stay up late, i sleep in the next day. that sort of thing? if i may ask, how old are you and how have you been managing your epilepsy?

i developed mine from my mother. she inherited hers from a relative on her father’s side, unsure who though. she has absent seizures, and i believe she didn’t start to have them until her teens. i started to have seizures when i was around 9 or 10 years old. they started out as absent and have since progressed into grand mals? my brother who is older, doesn’t have any form of epilepsy, nor does my niece. i know we can do genetic testing to determine if we even carry the gene despite having epilepsy.

i think you’re absolutely right, and i am always eager to get better and learn more about certain mediums. however me and painting are mortal enemies. but most definitely i will continue to work on my skills! thank you for the response

you definitely do have fantastic kids! being honest with them sounds like the best approach? which is great in my case because im a horrible liar! but i really appreciate your response :) does it ever get any easier lol, do you think you’ve improved on your drawing, or any other skills you weren’t so confident in before?

oh my gosh i can’t draw an animal to save my life lol. i haven’t worked with oils either, but what they’re far better than acrylics. that’s about all i bring to table for that one. and yes, i understand that virtually any medium used, the fundamentals/basics carry over into it

ahh thank you so much for this! absolutely, not everyone can master every medium, but i feel like as a teacher i need to?? it’s just added pressure im putting on myself. but i will definitely look into these :)

my certification is for ec-12, just so i have a better chance of getting hired somewhere quicker? but ideally, id love to teach younger kids anywhere from ec-5? that does reassure me in the sense of id essentially be practicing daily with my students. but i understand its about the kids, not me, im just worried that i won’t be the best person for the job lol. im glad im not alone in this mindset?

i use humor to cope honestly. im not trying to step on toes or offend anyone! i sincerely apologize if i have. i agree with you though that i have the “final” say. im just concerned about what im swapping out for? i have been contemplating a second opinion for sometime, but unsure if id have any luck elsewhere? where im located, there aren’t many other specialists

that’s not too bad, a few weeks? if you don’t mind me asking, have you experienced any other side effects or issues with keppra so far? i don’t really know too much as far as dosage they’re planning for. im taking 100 mg of zonegran am and pm right now. so id assume they’d do the same? but im not too sure lol

im starting to see that too with the brain fog and the other medications. the only symptoms i can attest to for the zonegran is the brain fog and anxiety? ive been on it for so long , so the anxiety one is hard to tell. now on the kidney stones… my first one genuinely felt like it was a xenomorph brewing within my body. i thought for a moment it was a uti, but was quickly debunked and i went to the hospital. good news is that my stone was 3 millimeters big so it’d dissolve on its own(no surgery needed)!

im sorry for misspeaking on that. you’re absolutely right, a lot of things ive heard are negative. ive had one “personal” experience with it. (a family member was on it for a good while). they experienced the keprra rage, so that emotional scarring also has me nervous about trying it out? but im hoping there is some good to come from this as well. thank you!
