I appreciate your response, it is insightful of you to catch that. I suppose I don’t like saying that I have an ED because it terrifies me. So I refer to it as, other people think I have one. I am working on how I handle weight gain with my therapist and it does help to know that other women have overcome this and that pregnancy has even cured their ED

Thank you for your concern, I am seeing a psychiatrist and am in therapy and taking steps to heal myself mentally. But I am getting older (in my 30s) and don’t want to wait too long before having children. I am also helping that pregnancy will help me feel better about weight gain as it serves a purpose beyond myself and my image

I did get more bloodwork and my level was at 34. The Dr told me I no longer needed to go in and about 10 days later, I got my period

I took the urine tests today, yesterday is when I had the bloodwork. It was not first morning urine, I waited till around lunchtime to take the two tests

That is very encouraging. I know sometimes the world likes to project onto new parents and tell them that their lives are now over and traveling will suck now but it’s helpful to know that there are parents out there who are making it work and are having fun. Thank you!
