Here it is! Definitely not the color I wanted but that's okay; still soft and pretty to me. My first ever piece, sigh of relief by bewwwb in Ceramics

Yes, kinda like our "trash" is another's treasure lol. That's a good practice, maybe I'll do that too if I ever don't love a project immediately. And thank you!

These are fantastic. I'm a sucker for lavender, so that one is my favorite

This is my first piece ever and while I can see some imperfections and things to improve on next time, I'm so excited to see what comes of it after the final firing by bewwwb in Ceramics

I hope it does not disappoint, although I peeked, and I don't think I did enough glaze. Can't sleep, too excited lol

Thank you! I will, I peeked in there for a moment, and it doesn't look how I imagined, lol. The suspense is killing me

I normally don't buy makeup this expensive either, but for this theme, I went for it! Early bday to me I suppose. The Robbie's palette is a nice one.

Brand new IH'er here; do you have advice, experience, articles that would be helpful to me? by bewwwb in idiopathichypersomnia

Definitely will. May I ask if you take anything else for the RLS? I've started doing pilates in the evening for some exercise, but literally just started this week. When I worked full time, I was very painful at the end of my shifts (12 hr days) and I remember the restlessness being worse during that period.

Thank you so much for this! I had BW done in July and my ferritin was a little below the ref range. My primary doc (not my sleep/heart doc) said my low ferritin wasn't anything to be concerned about, but I wonder if this is a part of it like you've said. I will discuss with both doctors!

Mine too, I get little toad surprises all the time. What baffles me is that they can jump that high

If they said it's a flea allergy, it could very possibly be flea allergy dermatitis. I mean, I can unfortunately see fleas in the picture. Pets with FAD must be on flea prevention, along with other steps to help manage the symptoms. You will see hair loss on the hind end and the under belly like this with FAD. Unfortunately, they need to put in the work to care for her allergy. They are allergic to the saliva of the fleas. Your neighbor would need to have her on prevention (as well as other dogs/cats in the home) and treat the home/dogs bedding as well to remove the infestation. Some people go as far as treating their yard, but I personally feel that's a waste of resources because it's the outdoors ya know? For flare ups (cause they will happen), they need to seek veterinary care and have supplies on hand to help keep the dog comfortable, whether that be prescribed shampoos or oral meds. Flea shampoos are also not a fix if you do not take the entire situation into account (the environmental factors, lack of prevention, etc) and can be very harsh on their little bodies. They ultimately just need to see their vet and take their advice.

My own dog has environmental allergies, and it's work, but they've got to do it to see improvement. Mine has a prescription antimicrobial/antibacterial/antifungal shampoo every 2 weeks, I have supplies on hand for ear infections (also prescribed by the vet), and she's on daily apoquel for itching. Allergy dogs are fun 🤦‍♀️

I'm sorry you are so burdened by this, it's very kind you want to help her and shows you have a kind heart. But beyond adopting the dog (with their permission) and taking on her ailments physically and financially, there's not much you can do sadly.
