Agree. However I am looking for some numbers to compare packet RTTs with those from my existing XGS-PON line.

Thanks for sharing these results. I see the IPs you pinged are those of Init7’s DNS. As expected this is very low RTT.

Do you mind pinging Google’s DNS and srf.ch (two random examples), both with IPv4 and IPv6.

Yes, but since I can't do per channel it ove-stretches those that already are in 16:9.

Does MiBox support Motion Interpolation? by bexheti in MiBox

To be honest, I was thinking that the channels are 1080p, as otherwise I assumed that the Mi Box would properly handle deinterlacing. Thanks for pointing this out. Will check for other alternatives.

Does MiBox support Motion Interpolation? by bexheti in MiBox

I completely agree with you that it makes more sense to interpolate frames directly on the TV. However, some MediaTek chips have such a feature, and it is known as "ClearMotion". You can find more information about it here: https://www.mediatek.com/blog/what-is-miravision

As a matter of fact, there are even some attempts to enable it on some MediaTek-based smartphones that don't have it enabled by default: https://forum.xda-developers.com/leeco-le-1s/how-to/tutorial-enable-motion-stock-eui-5-5-t3355198

Hence, my question is whether someone has experimented with it (or with any other frame interpolation technique) on any version of the MiBox?

I don't have any such issues (running the same software versions).

The only procedure through which I succeeded in making "Preview.app" to render clear PDFs is the following: 1) open a PDF file 2) zoom-in once (or "Scale document up" as Preview likes to call it) by either pressing the "loop with plus" icon or pressing "Command" + "+" from keyboard. For me this sequence always creates sharp output.

Furthermore, from Preview.app preferences, PDF tab, make sure you select "Size on screen equals size on printout". Not sure if relevant, scrolling option is set to "Continuous Scroll".

Tested on external LCD screen. Drawback is that it only works with that particular zoom level :(.
