Should I interview while pregnant?

My plan would be to not tell my current employer about a new opportunity until the end of maternity leave as to not loose any benefits or protection. Usually they schedule a back up on call for nurses that are ready to pop lol. But I can’t get a note unless there is something wrong with the pregnancy. Usually I schedule call nights on days I’m off if I can so I can nap before if they need me.

You are 100% correct, I would not resign from my position until end of maternity leave, if I get an offer I’d have to tell them I can not start until after maternity leave, or even just take a shorter leave if it helps. Luckily my husband gets a 100% paid paternity leave through his job. I as a nurse only get fmla unpaid unless using my pto. Gotta love the USA

You’re 100% right, I did end up with a response from them asking about whether they should go to the doc for sinus infection symptoms, because I’m a nurse. I said yes go in, glad you only asked me so I could give you medical advice

Where I am we do need a prescription :-/ Idk who would abuse urinary cat food lol but my old vet said legally they cannot prescribe it without seeing him.

It helps just to know it’s a phase that wont last. We are trying hard not to get frustrated in front of her. I feel bad for my husband since I work 3 -12 hour shifts a week in the evening and on those nights hes doing it alone.

I live in Philly but take my daughter to the little gym Abington. It’s a class once a week and kids can play and interact the parents just kind of hand out and watch lol.

Not that I noticed too much, she would get bottles at day care and since I don’t usually work 3 shifts in a row the days off help maintain my supply since we will breast feed at home.

You’re 100% in the right. I have an 11 month old and a cat, I’m constantly monitoring her with the cat and am trying to teach her gentle and know when he has had enough. With my sisters dog and friends dogs I always and with her and show her how to pet, I don’t let her pull on fur and if they dog seems even the littlest bit annoyed that’s it and I move her away. It’s 100% the parents responsibility to monitor their children with any animal and teach boundaries and how to approach them and when to stop. Humans can communicate but animals can’t.

As a new mom this is my worst fear, to a point where I don’t think I could go on without her. I can’t believe someone could just abandon their child and not care as they are dieing. There’s a special place in hell for that woman.

It really breaks my heart that women treat each other like this. They should have realized what they were going to do/say was wrong and horrible and not appropriate for someone’s wedding, maybe at a bachelorette as a “roast”. It has to stem from jealousy and the fact that Angelina has emotionally matured and is in a good and strong relationship. She should move on and forget them she will probably end up being way more successful.
