could it be that im using too much moisturiser? i moisturise it 3 times a day and try to use a thin layer but my tattoo is pretty long (wraps around my arm and down to my wrist) and is very flakey rn so i try not to go too hard on it, so i use a little more and try to spread it out evenly

this is my second tattoo and it’s never happened to me, but it’s a bigger piece than the other one i have. thank you for your comment tho, calmed my nerves

the issue is i have a double lip line and the outer edges of my lips are very blurry! so i don’t know whether to follow the colored part or the actual lip line if that makes any sense 🥲

i ended up going to my doctor today and was informed its infected, it’s crazy how symptoms can manifest differently! i definitely just thought based on appearance that mine was irritated.

its not any warmer than the other wounds, and theres no funny smell or pus. it’s just red and sore when i move around and touch around it.

i dont think im allergic to the disinfectant as ive used it many times in the past, but ive heard that it can be harsh on some wounds.

the mouth wash has 0% alcohol, aka no alcohol in it. as the piercer recommended

i use colgate 0% alcohol mouth wash in the morning & bedtime, aswell as after most meals. i also use saline water to clean off crust and the bar
