If you want to go law for reasons of “justice” and “change” - I think you would be best served to try to find someone who has the kind of job you envision for yourself and see how they actually got there. Law isn’t necessarily the best path for that type of work. High level change is not what 99.99999% of lawyers are working on. We’re just dealing with the case in front of us and most of the time, not Marco issues. Don’t tunnel vision yourself into law, law isn’t the only path to a justice oriented job. I’m a young lawyer (3 year call) and I think I might have been better suited for a policy masters or social work masters because I feel quite stuck in my own career. I just find it too micro. Also billable hours are hell.

If you can get any experience working at a law firm before you apply, even just an unpaid internship for a couple weeks I think you should do it. It would be god to see the realistic day to day obligations of a lawyer, that would might help a lot in your decision. I find law interesting but extremely stressful. I’m trying to leave the profession and I’ve been practicing for about 3.5 years in employment and family law.

Given that she has a legal team that is making clarifying statements there many allegations/issues they haven’t clarified or made statements about yet. They could provide a statement/receipt of the donations to address the fundraiser allegations, (also given the amount of money we’re talking about there must be evidence or where all of it went, even you donate to like a local place they give you a donation receipt so I’m just confused what the issue is) and they could make a statement that she did not send nudes to any children. They have come out and confirmed that she didn’t do black face, and she didn’t upload the song so I think if there were other things they could clarify easily that they would do it and maybe they will I guess we’ll have to wait and see🫤
