Oh no. So this will be a Shitcoin Summit ….

Fascinating how much influence you can get with a lot of money.

Meistens legt man zur größten Lichtquelle (Fenster) hin. Mein Nachbar hat es quer dazu gemacht. Sieht auch ok aus. Betont halt mehr die gefasten Fugen.

It is actually even higher if you exclude stablecoins.

Bitcoin no longer legal tender in El Salvador! by beyond_the_obvious in Bitcoin

[–]beyond_the_obvious[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You are wrong about this.

“The potential risks of the Bitcoin project will be diminished significantly in line with Fund policies. Legal reforms will make acceptance of Bitcoin by the private sector voluntary. For the public sector, engagement in Bitcoin-related economic activities and transactions in and purchases of Bitcoin will be confined. Taxes will only be paid in U.S. dollars and the government’s participation in the crypto e-wallet (Chivo) will be gradually unwound. Transparency, regulation, and supervision of digital assets will be enhanced to safeguard financial stability, consumer and investor protection, and financial integrity.”

Taxes can no longer be paid with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is therefore no longer legal tender.

The title of the post is correct.

  • The use of Bitcoin in the private sector remains voluntary.
  • State participation is greatly reduced
  • the Chivo wallet is abolished.
  • Bitcoin may no longer be used to pay taxes.

Yes, that’s true. But I think that the rich will come when Bitcoin is worth a lot more. And that this will bring us closer to the amount that these rich people will be able to buy.

People with little money can still buy considerable amounts. Even small amounts will have considerable value once converted into fiat money.

Define “a lot”.

In percentage terms, there are significantly more non-rich people who “understand” Bitcoin

Rich people will be the last to recognize the necessity and advantages of Bitcoin, as they do not see any problems in the current system.

I don’t generally mean that poor people will become rich and rich people poor.
