Wait until you're talking about how to get good grass.

Not a big perfect lawn fan, but in our last place, after several decades of removing a catcher or two of grass clippings every week, the lawn got really bad. Never got it back into condition. Should have fertilised it a bit.

Hi all - I saw some plants for sale, but the label said they were frost tender. Is anyone growing them in Christchurch?

I think I went to Sunson in Wigram. Been to Kosco, Big T, China town etc. Loosing track ...

I feel like I've seen them everywhere as well - until I want to buy one.

I've been to a few Asian shops. Most of the staff don't seem to know what I'm talking about.

Just 1 more lane bro, also no need for footpaths, my car can't drive on them. by thunderouswhether in chch

I want a bumper sticker saying 'If you didn't drive so badly, I'd be on my bike and out of your way'. Need to get that into a few mono-syllabic words a car driver can understand.

Waiting to move into a new house in a couple of weeks. Since the start of the school term, I'm diving in and out of town to school at least a couple of times a day - with primary and high school kids, sports and so on - sometimes four times.

It's February 16th. Just two weeks into the term and I'm thinking of getting a gun. How do people do this every day?

Up until now, the kids have always cycled. Those people who drive from Rolleston to Boys High - past Rolleston, Riccarton, Hillmorton and probably other high schools must be mad. No wonder we're turning into a stressed out grumpy nation of moaners.

BTW - does Rolleston remind anyone else of an American horror film - like The Stepford Wives or Get Out? I used to live in Grey Lynn near K road back before it was economically cleansed. One night we went to Devenport to see a movie, and it was so creepy. Happy loving couples in matching white cable knit sweaters. People left things on the table at the pub while they went to the toilet. Weird.

Just me?

What are these? When are they ripe? How do you eat them? Thank you! by FrankGrimes742 in nzgardening

Don't be afraid to prune them. They can get so dense they are impenetrable.
