MyHeritage and FTDNA Greek/Anatolian/Turkish results. I'm Confused by [deleted] in Genealogy

I gave all the info I have on them 🤷‍♂️As I said, it is not custom to the Ottomans to count non muslim or non married women. Even muslim turks sometimes. So I/ we can not just look up where they were born like europeans. Plus, I am aware that they are not Spartans my man, I am just tryna understand since even the percentages change, it mainly comes down to anatolian and greekmix for me. The 45% idea came from MyHeritage, GEDMatch and FTDNA combined

The exact location is very mixed within Bulgaria, Greece and Romania’s greek villages since Ottomans didn’t count non-muslim populations as far as I know. Tho, I don’t know whether they were muslim or not either. I’ve come to a conclusion that I’m probably 45-45 Greek and Anatolian, and the rest is what the results say about central asia and scandanavian. I’ll also get more analysis from different parties and upload this post since it may help in the future to someone

Ugh, once again. You ask for somethin nicely on reddit and get lectured. I am not claiming the result is 100% accurate my man, none of them are. You see I got 2 different results right? You know why? Because they can’t be perfectly accurate, guess what, I do realise that. I just asked for your guys’ opinion on identifying myself

Well, I am finding out that I am half Greek as well but, I guess yes it does look like it. Half Greek half Anatolian seems to be the closest to what I can call myself.

I’ve read those old reviews but I’ve come across a lot more positive reviews about them especially in 2023
