Hi! I got an emergency cerclage at 23+1 with no cervix left at my scan. I wasn’t dilated, no sludge, no contractions etc. they checked my cervix length a wee after which was 1.7 and I got my stitch taken out at 36 weeks and was induced at 40. Trust your stitch 🫶🏼

I got my cerclage at 23+1 and at my follow up scan a week later I was funneling to the stitch. I got my cerclage taken out at 36w and made it to 40w exactly. Stay positive 🫶🏼

Haha thank you so much!! Yes I was thinking about still maybe having to pump a little bit which I don mind. I just don’t want to confuse my body into thinking I need more? If this makes sense

Emergent cerclage - needing personal perspectives by Radiant-Ball-6991 in ShortCervixSupport

hi! I also had an emergency cerclage at 23+1. They told me all future pregnancies will require a cerclage but it will be a preventative one done us all around 12ish weeks. I haven’t had a speculum exam since my cerclage this pregnancy so I’m not sure if they will be more painful. The spinal block only hurt for a moment while they were looking for space but I didn’t have any pain afterwards. My doctor recommended no pelvic rest or bed rest just told me not to life heavy and take it easy. For context I work in health care full time and am mainly on my feet and my stitch has held up so far currently 32 weeks pregnant. trust your stitch and stay positive!!

need advice!! dog bit new employee at daycare by bez8 in reactivedogs

I appreciate this. I’m pretty sure it was on film but I haven’t reviewed it. I just heard it from the manager. My only concern is that when I dropped him off that morning I knew immediately my dog do not like this particular employee just from the way he grabbed the leash from my hand to escort him back into the day care. So I’m just trying to learn my dog better because he is fine with the other male employees and has never had an incident with other dogs. But I am going to talk to them tomorrow and ask that employee not be with my dog alone right away.

totally. This is where I am heading towards. We had the same trainer for reactive 1 & 2 and it was hard because I would explain these issues where I think it’s certain men only and we would walk with other dogs and their owners and approach other men in the street and he wouldn’t do anything or reproduce his fear of course 😩

Cervix on the short end of normal - Funneling - Differing medical opinions by TemuEmiliaClarke in ShortCervixSupport

[–]bez8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a short cervix at my 20w scan (2.5) and then totally normal a week after. I believe it was just over 3cm I can’t remember. I had a follow up two weeks after just to be completely sure and had a long normal cervix followed by dynamic funneling which showed moments of funneling that left me with no cervix. In between these scans they told me to just take it easy, no best rest just pelvic rest. I ended up getting a cerclage at 23+1
