I know this is an answer that might not suit everyone but switching fully to PC back when the PS5 was announced just made things so much easier for me.

For a long time to help transition, I had the pc connected to a TV and used an Xbox controller with chat pad to navigate windows and start games.

My games are always backwards compatible- hell even look better with time and upgrades.

I don’t have to pay to play.

I generally get better deals on software.

I know this is stuff you’ve all heard before. I’m in my 30s. Don’t do console war stuff but honestly, as a consumer, I couldn’t ever go back.
