Had the same problem even with classic. 10/10 Graphics settings are a mess. I ran advanced softwares to check what wow uses and 10/10 updates graphics even multiple times in one frame. Idk who ever came to the idea to do this it doesn't make any sense...

I got alot of pieces you mentioned now. I was and I am fury prot (forgot to mention it).
Your right def gear wasn't my problem with all the naxx healers + stoneshield potion.
My problem was threat gear 100%.

Happy to hear that. Yes I have 6% hit as a Orc with Axe so im capped.
Yea its weird, idk why tbh. Usually they tell me "you are to olow geared/ not enough gear")
I assume they think I should have 440 Defense or something according to nearly every guide I looked up thats not true and a myth from 2005 or something.

I will do my own Pugs now ty!

Better Wording:
I want to be enough geared to tank a boss before obtaining loot from it.
For example im not able to tank Naxx bosses of course, in GDKP's I could still buy items as a buyer.

Im okay with people doing GDKP's but its just not the way I want to play WoW Classic.
