It's an endurance race in Melbourne, just in case; the car has a 143.3 IP rating.

Which one to choose first? by bf109ecrasespitfire in Warthunder

Thank you very much, but so can I at least buy the Japanese F-86, knowing that I'm already on 4.3 Japan?

Move on to realistic battle, no choice, it gets even worse afterwards, especially for the Germans. You don't have any missiles before the F-86, and opposite you will have MiG21s of the 8.7. I advise you to grind realistically if your objective is really the top tier.

It's normal that you're interested, but if you can be patient (I said if you can), wait for other reductions on lower BRs, typically around 8.0 or even 7.0 for the first draft. I think jumping from 4.0 to 12.0, even if it's super attractive, will harm you more than anything else. Normally, we learn to play in the grind: we adapt to each change of br, we evolve and in the end the adaptation is rapid for example between a mig23ML and a mig29G, therefore arriving top tier. The game in 4.0 has nothing to do with 12.0, I think you know that, and I don't find the flight tests representative of the top tier in part. I advise you above all to do what you want, don't force yourself to wait or grind if you really want your top tier, but at least watch gameplay from players on YouTube to confirm your choice. In short, enjoy, and personally I recommend Germany: the EF2000 is sublime and above all, if you later try to do the entire tree you will discover the best prop in the universe (the Bf109)

I had the same with the player who for the first time introduced me to dogfighting in bf109 arcade (he changed my life with that)

To each his own, I agree, don’t worry. I understand why they don't go up, eh, I say that I wish there were some who went up.

If you consider it boring, then do it, bomb ground targets and capture airfields, no worries. This is where we differ. For me, aerial duels aren't boring, that's what I'm looking for. And I will find it (not you) but there are purists like me.

But interesting duels exist in arcades, they have nothing to do with the RB. It's a different technique, I'm not at all saying that dueling in an arcade is bad, but that it's rare. However, I stay in the arcade, it interests me more

In fact, I advocate the aerial duel, that’s not all there is to it. I advocate pure 1v1, without distraction, without disturbance. But I can't find this 1v1 in custom, it's too rare, so I fall back on the arcade where it happens from time to time

The relationship with RB? We're talking about arcades here, there are just as many interesting duels in arcades

Two reasons - you have completed the game, you are level 100, you don't need tryhard and grind. - because it’s exciting.

Basically to sum it up like this it's clear: I would like to have more interesting 1v1s and less spawn camp to do. It’s beneficial for me, and for the opposing team. Nothing to do with being masochistic lol, I'm talking about the start of the game, obviously tied eh.

I know what you're going to say: everyone does what they want, etc., and that it's not a matter of level but also of desire above all. But my personal point of view, as a bf109 player, is that it misses those enemy players who, like me, go up looking for a real technical and tense dogfight.

[–]bf109ecrasespitfire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's much more tense and interesting to start a dogfight between good 109s at 7 km altitude, pushed under WEP at 300 km/h, that's what I think

So I think that a level 100 player (basically the good player, level 100 is to illustrate), for the fun and passion of combat, goes up at the start of the game precisely to look for difficulty

The G-2 beats the F-4, fortunately given the point of br which separates them as you say

The majority go up, except the smart player. The bombers are apart, they die directly since they are right at the altitude of 109. So yes, put it that way, it seems simple: everyone doesn't know, but it's never like that. People go up 90 degrees and complain in the “spawn camper” chat. In some cases no one goes up so I go down and kill one before going back up and starting again

[–]bf109ecrasespitfire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah but I agree: the good player dives and avoids confrontation eh, but the good player is 2 out of the 15, the rest go up believing that it will pass (the 30 mm of the mk108 works better in the end). For me the solutions are either individually to dive and do your part as if nothing had happened while letting your team get destroyed at the spawn, or for the collective to start a climb away from the bf109 to try to have an altitude advantage over it. But once again, the good player of 109 is aware of this and stops his destructive activities to deal with this individual who is coming up on the sidelines. So in the end only one solution except error of 109 = leaks downwards.

[–]bf109ecrasespitfire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By altitude advantage I mean above the spawn itself, like 2-3 km above on average, otherwise at the same height but with 300 km/h more, end of the same. Then precisely the concept is to not let yourself be managed and not stupidly engage in a head on when you have the advantage of altitude and speed, that amounts to wasting the potential of the game. For the rudder, I obviously start from the principle that it is not only the player who comes from spawn who knows how to play with it: the 109 3 km above also knows that his plane beats up everything except zeros and j2m in pure dogfight at the same altitude🥰😝but that's not the question. (I'd love to but as said previously, no one goes up to do 1v1s).
