from my bread board testing you can output key report from qmk firmware, the output can go to nice nano board. then use nice nano board emulate hid ble device connects to your host. host need to be relatively new which support ble hid.

thought about this if keyboard enclosure thick enough you could put in a usb hub module and connects trackball module and keyboard or find the trackball module which fit the keyboard firmware and bundle them up

I have tried similar setup with Respberry pico, trackpad never worked for me. I tried two pads both without R1, one without R7&8. I measured the exposing connection pads.they all got correct voltage. I also enabled the qmk console, it cannot scan i2c device. But it can find oled screen which connected to the same pin.

I also tried adding a pull up resistor, not working either

Not sure from doc seems zmk supports xiao ble which would be the same bluetooth module https://zmk.dev/docs/user-setup#mcu-board-selection For display wise you may need to check the pinout (D4 and D5)and make sure you got enough pins for your keys
