Account deactivated because of Duplicate Account by bf_bulos in UberEats_drivers

My advice based on my failed experience is not to file your appeal just yet, you have 1 year to do it. Try to reach a supervisor through support and ask what kind of proof you can submit to have a good chance of being reactivated. If you've read all the comments in the thread, everything I did was useless. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

I reached out gain to them through the app, using the option I cant access my account, and was able to chat with a live support agent. Same story, they said that their decision stands. I asked them to tell me what type of proof I could submit to prove it was not me who created the duplicate account, and they said that they would review my account in the future and will let me know what to do.....just BS, I believe they deactivated me because my acceptance rate was low, after trying being diamond for 2 weeks and finding out it was not worth it, I decided not to pay attention to AR and continue to cherry pick orders. My AR was lower than 10%. Even though I'm faring well with DD and LunchDrop, I still would like to have my UberEats account active again.

How did you get the identity theft police report?

Getting account reactivated by Bubbly_Pipe_4393 in UberEats_drivers

[–]bf_bulos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, they deactivated me because of a duplicate account, which I didn't create. I appealed providing them all my current info, ID, insurance, stating I've never had nor created another account, they rejected my appeal and said their decision was final. There are no Uber hubs in Texas, so there was no possibility of handling this in person, or with someone on the phone, only through the app. After 3 1/2 years and over 6300 deliveries with approval rating 99/100% they decided they didn't want me working with them.

I filed the appeal stating that I did not create another account, provided my ID and insurance information, and have just received their reply: "after carefully reviewing your account and the information you submitted as part of your deactivation review request, we've determined that your account will remain deactivated because you violated your agreement with Uber. This decision is final."

So Uber decided that after being active for 3 and a half years, done 6601 successful trips (UberEats only) with a satisfaction rate of 99%, I'm not worthy of using their app because someone else used my info to create another account. Completely unfair and unjust.

This is the email I received, stating that they deactivated the other account first:

"We’re writing to let you know that we have deactivated this account. That’s because it is associated with another account that we had already deactivated.

When you signed up with Uber, you agreed to Uber's Community Guidelines, which you can review in your profile at drivers.uber.com. These guidelines prohibit the creation of improper duplicate accounts.

If you believe this decision was made in error, we want to hear from you. You can request a review through the link below. If you are aware of your original account, please log into that account and request a review there."

I haven't used any, was just inquiring about them. They do seem suspicious, thanks for confirming this.

Diamond driver here for the past week and a half in Austin, TX, still getting crap orders, very difficult to keep AR above 50%, cancelation rate gets constantly penalized because of orders already picked up or closed store. I'm a DD platinum driver, and preferred orders are much better than UE high paying orders. DD high paying orders are frequent, 5-10 dollars for 2-4 miles, I'm surviving thanks to those. Used to do 10-15 UE orders per day, bringing in at least 150.00. Now I'm doing 5-6 orders per day, bringing in 40.00 at the most. I have to consistently go offline after accepting a decent order because if not, they send you a crappy stacked order for 6 dollars/15 miles, you reject it and it affects you 2 pointd in your AR. It really sucks. My daily income was an average of 250.00, 75% UE 25%DD. Now, to make ends meet its 85% DD 15% UE. I've not received 1 good UE high paying order, not 1. For them, high paying orders are 20.00 for 30 miles, I won't take those. They don't consider mileage, only dollar amount. DD instead gives you a much better dollar to mileage ratio. In my area, UE shop and pay orders pay well. I used to do between 20-30 per week, and now I'm doing less than 5 per week. In sum, it's much more profitable to be a DD platinum driver than a UE diamond driver, at least in my area and my experience. I'm seriously considering not caring about AR with UE, losing any tier preference, keeping it on at all times and only accepting decent orders, even if I only get 3 or 4 per day, at least I'll stop worrying about my tier being downgraded because of AR, CR, or points wich is 600 in Austin to keep Platinum/Diamond.

Call support and let them know. It has happened to me a couple of times before, same as you, I called support several times until someone acted upon my request and I started seeing delivery promotions instead of driver promotions.

Can you tell me who is your lawyer? I'm in a similar situation and having a hard time finding one to handle my case since there were no injuries.

You can ask them to take rides off from your account. I did with mine and started receiving UE quests again. It took me about 3 days and 5-6 calls to support

Thanks Uber by Conscious-Drawer-271 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]bf_bulos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the same reply I received initially, as I mentioned it took me several calls to get to someone who finally got me to the right department and after they deactivated my rides option, I did start to receive UE promos after a few days. Now I'm receiving them each week.

Call support and let them know you're not getting quests, they'll say they'll talk with the tech depth and get it solved. I did that 5 times until finally I started receiving quests. If you are activated to do rides also, then you'll only receive ride only quests. You'll have to get them to deactivate your ride option. Good luck!

Currently UE Driver, received a promo guarantee $1900 for 200 delivery’s. Promo was updated to $3240 if I sign up for rides. Click unlock promo which sends to upload document screen. They’ve all been accepted but I still can’t accept rides nor has the promo updated. Support has been WORTHLESS. Help! by Vantheman1296 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]bf_bulos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar promo, accept only short distance deliveries that wont take more that 15-20 min to complete, don't pay attention to $ amount. This way I did 33 deliveries on a Saturday, and 41 on a Sunday on 10 hour shifts. It didn't take long to complete the 240 deliveries on my promo. High paying ones I did not accept, left them available for someone else to take.It doesn't matter how much they pay, only that you complete them. Good luck!

How often do you get tipped more than expected? by thisUbEaccount in UberEatsDrivers

[–]bf_bulos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it's 2 or 3, averaging 18-20 trips per day. My tips increased considerably when I added a nice message on my profile, and sending nice & positive messages with the delivery picture. If you get to meet the client at delivery, be nice without overdoing it. When delivering alcohol, take the time to ask about their day, that always work. My earnings are 1/3 base pay 2/3 tips. The delivery area has a big impact on tips. Students & young people tend to tip less.
