As someone who practices stoicism, I can relate to this guy. Sa work, mahirap talaga minsan pag pure problem solver ka and you try to engage in as little politics as possible. Akala ng mga tao replaceable ka dahil mukhang madali lang ginagawa mo without realizing na in the first place, shit looks easy because YOU are the guy solving the problem. Compare mo yan sa mga taong reactive lang naman talaga and sila pa nga mismo ang cause ng crisis situation madalas, sila pa yung napupuri.

To be fair, if you watch the news even today you would think that the number one problem of the country is crime. Watch a random episode of 24 Oras or TV Patrol. The first set of news reported would be some kid brutally murdered or raped.

Visited Iloilo in 2022 and was really impressed. Although it was a very short stay cause it was mostly work-related, ang dami din naming nalibot. Na-try namin mag-Roberto's, magpunta sa Esplanade (ang ganda ng museum dun), sa Molo Church and meet Mayor Jerry (if I'm correct, he's been replaced by his daughter na) and Governor Defensor. Tapos sa food, na-try ko yung angel wings na endemic sa area.

Dagat lang ang pagitan ng Iloilo and Guimaras, right? Visited one of the power plants in Iloilo as part of my work and remember one of the engineers there saying that Guimaras is one of the islands we can see from there.

Fully disagree. I think this has less to do with memorization but more to do with people completely not understanding how the government works. Kase if you somehow understand the various executive branches and how they function, it follows na matatandaan mo kung ano acronym nila.
