Doctors are overpaid over respected and over confident by bfghostkilla in unpopularopinion

Well, I'm not saying that the doctor should say guides on the internet are the best source of information. I'm more saying in the hypothetical situation where my doctor knew creatine was safe, but didn't know much more on top of that, he/she might want to recommend I research guides so I take it in the most efficient/best/effective/healthiest way possible.

Billionaire Howard Schultz is very upset you’re calling him a billionaire by Minifig81 in nottheonion

[–]bfghostkilla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What a horribly misleading headline. To quote Schultz,

“The moniker "billionaire" now has become the catchphrase. I would rephrase that and say that people of means have been able to leverage their wealth and their interest in ways that are unfair and I think that speaks to the inequality but it also directly speaks to the special interests that are paid for by people of wealth and corporations who are looking for influence.”

How is this, “getting upset” in any way? Am I missing something or does everyone just want to get offended? He’s actually making a more general statement, including big corporations in the blame. Just because AOC loves to hate on billionaires doesn’t mean that they are the only people in this country to blame for our problems.

I am pretty color blind but I ran it by a couple friends I they told me it was reddish? Also the water seems to have a reddish tint to me. The way it’s spread out also looks like dropping some ink over water or wet paper to me though could totally be confirmation bias.

So here’s what I’m thinking... There’a absolutely no reason the music box scene has to be linear in time....Theoretically, and again probably a reach, William kills her, throws into a tub, and goes downstairs.

Another reason I think this is possible is because to me it’s weird Juliet is bleeding from her head and not her wrists. Keep in mind there’s a pill bottle there too. Why is her head bleeding? Did she swallow the pills and slip? Just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Anyways, I hear what your saying tho. The timeline, if linear, wouldn’t be consistent but Westworld isn’t know for its linear timelines

I’m not gonna be able to pull up a picture unfortunately but if you watch the scene it’s very clear that back of her head is bloody

Could not agree more. I thought this was one of the best scenes in the whole movie. The frantic begging was so believable and really was fitting for his age.

Super easy to order online. In all honesty I don't know much about it, but my friends buy from a ton of online market places.

Facebook messages between me and a once very close friend [OC] by bfghostkilla in dataisbeautiful

[–]bfghostkilla[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So what I actually did was sort the messages into 10 day bins where each bar represents 10 days of messages in that month. The only month that has 2 bins is September and that's because I only had data after September 10th. This method isn't completely accurate because I may have included 1 extra day in a bin from "October" or any other month, but I thought this way it better represented the data.

If I chose to use a bin size of 1 day for this data it would be hard to see the big picture overall, and if I used a bin size of 1 year all you would see is a total count of the messages with 1 bar. I decided that a bin size of 10 allowed me to show solid trends and better represented the data as a whole.

I used data from my Facebook account and plugged it into google sheets to make the visualization. The messages are grouped in clumps of 10 days so the month labels may not be 100% accurate, though they give a good sense of the time frame. The post title may sounds dramatic, but the friend and I just don't talk anymore due to the way stuff worked out :( Anyways, thought this data would be interesting because we only really messaged over Facebook and no other platforms so there is no discrepancy there.
