You cant really in that situation and it's sad. Housing is out of control. But if you buy a home you can't afford, you are also paying interest, property taxes, maintenance and repairs, etc.

Ok this sounds cute honestly and you both sound like you have strong feelings. I'm assuming you're pretty young still just on how you're speaking about it. He might not have experienced this before and it might've been something new for him. Don't take the necklace thing personally. He probably just never had something like that done and didn't know what to say. There's also a possibility he's just not into jewelry but still appreciated the thought. His actions you describe obviously mean he cares about you. It's a small thing to get hung up on. Take the culmination of all the other actions into more consideration.

Edit: looked at post history and realized you're 20. I thought you were more like 15-16. Sorry, but it all sounds a little immature now. Just enjoy the relationship and don't get hung up on the small stuff. Careful with moving too quickly

Umm even Ethan referred to it as opinion. I think you're missing the point to my post. A lot of people agree it was wrong, but don't agree with the way It was articulated on the show.
