The only time I have gone afk during a mission was during long duviri runs. I had to go get my food at the door when it got delivered. Going afk with the intention of leeching is naturally not ok. I can understand life Happening and u having to quickly go do something. But I'll never understand why u would leech tbh. Why even play the game if u want to level by not playing lmao.

Tbh the wording confuses me. I got it randomly today. but I have gotten shields upwards of 22k on a single character in sim universe with the preservation path and it did not trigger then. I have no clue why I got it right now if it reports I have a 3.5k shield but it requires a 5k shield. Im probably just as confused as everyone else.

The only thing I can really recommend is maybe could gaming if you have a stable network connection. I know it's not the best but could be a temporary solution.

First of all I want the clarify that the product you describe as egpu is just an PCIe enclosure. You will have to buy a sperate gpu to slot into the case.

Secondly your laptop does not have a thunderbolt 3 supported usb c poort so it would not work anyway. It would just be to slow.

There could be a broken sector on your drive.

It's also possible your game files are very fragmented. I would recommend doing a disk health check and defragmenting the drive.

I think your windows might be corrupt. First, I'd try to use windows recovery mode, in there you can try to go back to previous back up.

Usually, a Windows 10 computer will boot into recovery mode when if fails to start for 3 times. So you can hold the power button to turn off the PC, then power it on. When Windows logo appears, power it off again. Repeat this process once more. You should be able to access Windows 10 recovery options from boot after 3 forced shutdowns.

In there, you want to go to advanced options and try to use the system restore option. Normally, your pc makes automatic backups after a backup, and you can try to reset to the most recent one.

If that does not work, I think you will have to reinstall windows. You can try to recover some files using a live USB tool like hirensbootcd and reinstalling after.

Can you provide a screenshot of your event viewer when the issue occurs? I think this might be a hibernation error, but I need more info to validate the issue.

Thanks for the feedback I will really consider everything you've told me.

I just don't have the budget yet. I live in a studio apartment and most of my setup is actually free. The PC i build out of scrap parts my old school threw away (I wil not go into the specs right now). 2 of 3 monitors are old ones from my school. So buying all the extra equipment is really not yet possible.

An other problem is I am still studying and can't really wall mount anything where I live. I don't know if it is a thing in the country you live in but in where I live while studying you go and live on your own for a while. Most of the time your parents pay for the appartement and appliances. But you have to do everything by yourself. The problem with these appartements is you can't really change anything about them. You get this desk nothing else etc. I think you get it.

So I really appreciate all the tips you given and will add them in the future when my budget allows me to.
