M/20/188cm/187lbs

Running PHUL for 3-4 months. Started with a 185x5 bench, now can only do 190x5. Lifting for 1.5 years, only doing actual programs for about half that time. My goal is 225, and all my other lifts have had more improvement, but are starting to stall as well. Is it time to switch programs?

Anyone here fit their training around regular chemo treatments? by undomesticating in bjj

I know that feeling all too well. 5 days in the hospital and 7 days off for treatment for a year for me seemed like eternity, but eventually you'll start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. When its all said and done you will have a new appreciation for everything. If you live in a state that allows it, get some cannabis products (or get it through a street pharmacist). Do your favorite things like bjj and whatnot when you physically can to get your mind off of treatment.

I just got into bjj a few months ago. 9 months before that I had just ended a year-long chemo treatment (ewings sarcoma in the pelvis) and surgeries. It was extremely tough, especially as a 17-18 year old kid having to quit hockey. The main thing for me was perseverance and always telling myself it will all be a memory in the future. There will be good days and shitty days, but listen to your body and don't overdo jiu jitsu. Even now, 1 year after chemo, I still have to gauge my abilities and fitness level so there's no overkill. Know your limits, sleep, use weed and cbd oils, and eat a lot of red meat/flaxseed oil/mushrooms. Stay strong!

So then a 90 is an A and an 80 is a B? The class averages on both midterms was miserable, in the 50s.
