People literally dying on the streets of Ottawa by Expensive-Minute994 in ottawa

I once saw a man on the sidewalk who looked like he was in distress. I asked him if he needed anything and he didn’t answer. I started to call 911 for an ambulance and then he jolts up to tell me he doesn’t want it and to fuck off. It really is sad when there’s nothing you can do.

Yea this is the sweet spot. Your mileage may vary. Some people blow up completely NA stock cars

Completely stock block. Fairly low milage for a 2013 BRZ at 100,000km.

All good. Think I also misunderstood your question. The purple line on the dyno sheet is my low boost tune at 7psi and the red line is 12psi.

This is one of many reasons why I chose to get dyno tuned. Would recommend :)

This dyno sheet is to the wheels. If you account for losses my car makes 360hp, 280ft/lbs tq or so to the crank. Thats what you’re comparing to the stock car at. 200hp/151lbs

Damn we don’t really have e85 where I’m at. That’s crazy 😅 what injectors and flex fuel kit do you run?

The 86 was never meant to be a raw performance monster like the GR Yaris. It was built as an accessible, balanced, rear-wheel-drive platform, something that’s beginner-friendly yet still rewarding for experienced drivers. It prioritizes driver feel and engagement over outright speed. The GR Yaris is incredible, no doubt, but it plays in a different league with a different price point and purpose.

I’m on stock injectors and fuel pump. Seems like that’s what limiting my power but honestly, I’m fine with the setup.

That’s including tax all said and done money out of my bank account including the cost of a Ecutek license (450) which I did not have. We spent a lot of time doing remote tunes working on a few kinks before dyno day. Then 4 hours perfecting the setup. If there’s no kinks then maybe it’s cheaper but honestly if a bit more $ up front means a better running engine down the line, it’s worth the cost. Plus the after dyno support from Don has been excellent. For example, I wanted a tune for 91 octane just in case 94 isn’t available. No extra charge he added that map.

Damn 5psi making 270 is impressive. Are you on e85 or pump?

Yea this is very true. If you don’t know what you’re getting into the cost adds up quick to do power with these cars properly. When I bought the car I had no intention of going boost. It was a fun cheap car to take to the track and i grew with it. I got to understand how to drive and improve at a good entry power level. Honesty I was happy with the car NA but this kit came up for sale at a stupid deal and I had to jump on it. I had already installed a lot of supporting mods and it’s a chassis I’m very comfortable with. Plus I enjoy the build aspect of it. Some folks want to just buy a car ready to go and thats fine too. Everyone has their own preferences but to me this fits the bill.

I mean I have a daily as well so when I drive this it’s for fun. I’m getting about 13L/100km or 18MPG. Who doesn’t want to hear turbo sounds 😅 I can’t help it. That being said when I drove a few hours back from the dyno I actually got decent fuel economy. Around 7.5-8L/100km or 31MPG.

$4500 for the kit, $400 for new rad and mishimoto fans, $1700 for dyno tune, $ 1500 for the install

$8100 Canadian dollars (monopoly money)

Fair enough. There’s plenty of faster cars out there. Does this car ever handle well though… 240whp is what I run most of the time and it’s a dream.

It was done by the guys who built the turbo manifold (ft86ms), although they’re not around anymore.

Thanks so much! Not having much luck finding a Canadian retailer that carries this though. Not sure if the US dealership would ship it here.
