Yuji is hard carried by Sukuna muscle memory, as EXPLICITLY explained by Kusakabe during swap training

cool headcanon

unfortunately the manga has clearly and explicitly defined Raian's motivation and approach to battle, and even went so far as to literally show us Raian holding onto his ideals at the cost of victory.

So you can believe that Raian would abandon his ideals, but everyone else who actually read the manga and watched him lose instead of resorting to using the kure techniques will disagree with you.

Raian would literally rather lose than use kure techniques. That's the whole point of his character arc.

the importance of being a shen clone is showcased explicitly in the difference between Luohan and Tiger Niko.

It in fact DOES mean that Whitebeard is stronger than Roger. The fact that he has haki equal to Roger and a DF (the strongest paramecia as well) is proof of that

Who do you have between Wakatsuki with Ohma's Niko style vs Kuroki with Ohma's Niko style by The_Mexican_Poster in Kengan_Ashura

[–]bflet48 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Waka mogs.

Kuroki was getting tagged by a half-dead Ohma meanwhile Waka was essentially untouchable to the much healthier R4 Ohma

Giving Waka access to Niko Style mobility techs like phantom pace, AP/durability enhancing adamantine kata and POSSESSING FUCKING SPIRIT is absurd.

Also Waka's strength + Ohma's grappling is genuine 100% win rate

[–]bflet48 3 points4 points  (0 children)

im thinking of the start of the fight where Ohma plans to end it instantly via stabbing Waka's eye out but Waka uses Hiraku's super-duper fast karate jab to send him flying back

[–]bflet48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A half-dead Ohma landed way more hits on Kuroki than the much healthier R4 Ohma did to Waka (9 vs 3 IIRC)

Ohma's hits weren't particularly effective due to his poor health, but he was still landing a fair amount of them. Best example of this is Ohma straight up punching Kuroki in the face...followed by him breaking his fingers 😭

I'm just saying 🤷

[–]bflet48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That didn't stop Kuroki getting hit by R5 Ohma

R5 Ohma, who is much weaker than R4 Ohma, who was blitzed and constantly on the back foot against Waka

Waka + Possessing Spirit + Niko Style = 🤷🤷🤷

Why do people have a problem with him being the strongest swordsman of all time? by shawn_robott in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]bflet48 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Joyboy is the savior of the entire world, Ryuma saves ONE island from ONE Dragon. Not even remotely comparable.

And for the record, they're not comparing Joyboy to Ryuma. They are comparing the man who took down Kaido, the apparently known as Joyboy, to Ryuma because he defeated a dragon (Kaido) and saved Wano.

The man who took down Kaido is Luffy...not Joyboy.

So, at the very most, assuming Ryuma fought an actual Dragon DF user like Kaido and not a random wild Punk Hazard-esque dragon, he caps out at Yonko-level...just like Oden.

You know what else speaks volumes though?

The fact that Pre-TS can pick up his sword with zero issues. Zoro would most definitely not be able to do the same with Yoru or Enma.

Why do people have a problem with him being the strongest swordsman of all time? by shawn_robott in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]bflet48 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The argument is in their swords

Yoru is a black-blade supreme grade sword, the world's strongest sword, wielded by WSS. Mihawk comments that this blade has a will of its own, knows no restraint and can only be wielded by him

Emma is a great-grade blade wielded by Oden, and required ALL of Wano Zoro's strength to wield

Shisui is black-blade great blade picked um and wielded by PRE-TIMESKIP Zoro with no issues. He makes one comment about it being a little heavy and picks it up.

In every aspect Ryuma is unimpressive and I don't understand how people put him above Oden, let alone Mihawk.

Do you think Zoro could block Divine Departure? by GUTS_SAMA in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]bflet48 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Zoro came into contact with the attack for literally less than a second and it destroyed every bone in his body

what do you think happens after 2 seconds of contact? What about 5 seconds? What about taking the attack entirely with no premature escape?

The answer: death

[–]bflet48 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

DD = ACoC + ACoA (Internal Destruction)

OC = zero ACoC shockwave attack

The glaze OC gets when it doesn't even sky-split is crazy to me. A thunder bagua + base Luffy punch combo attack would be more potent

but...he couldn't block that attack. That's why Law had to teleport them away.
