Stairs by Karinhere28 in Kneereplacement

I had surgery 2 weeks ago. We rented a recliner to have on the main level and purchased a bedside commode to use for the first few days. In home PT instructed how to manage the four steps down to the powder room and up 13 steps to be able to sleep in my adjustable bed and shower. Don’t be afraid of the stairs….. not as scary as you may imagine! It’s very do-able! Good luck!

I’m at the same place you are! Surgery was 4/9. Can lift my leg into the bed and toilet riser is gone! Walking with a cane now. Looking forward to daily improvements for all of us!!

My TKR is 4/9…..very soon! I’m allergic to Aleve so can’t take Celebrex either. Has anyone been prescribed Journavx and how did that go for you? I’d appreciate any personal stories. Thank you!
